Dr. Angie was born and spent her childhood locally in Somerset, KY. For the last several years her husband Stephen, and two young sons, Elijah and Luke have called it home as well. She completed her undergraduate education at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, and spent four years obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
She then applied and was accepted into the University of Kentucky Pediatric Dental residency program which she completed in 2015. These extra two years were spent specializing in dental care for children and all those with special health care needs. She became certified to treat children in the clinical setting and operating room under general anesthesia and for in-office oral sedation. Dr. Angie completed extra education and testing beyond residency to become a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Angie aims to make the dental experience comfortable and fun for children and their caregivers!
